Does this look familiar to you? Yes, it’s a circle. In fact, it’s one of the most famous circles in the world. It’s Stonehenge, the prehistoric monument in England. So, why does WTP care? Well, remember that this is one of our patented “B-side” podcasts. And like the B-side of a record, what you’ll hear on this podcast is just a little bit different. Rest assured, though, that we won’t be talking about ancient pagan rites, etc. Instead, structural engineer and designer Cecil Balmond is going to take you on a unique tour of Stonehenge, focusing on its iconic geometry – in this case, the circle. This is the first of three shows Mr. Balmond did for the BBC. We’ll feature the others in future B-sides episodes.
A reminder that you can ignore us equally on Twitter, Facebook, and now Google +.
